The American Girls Doll Dress Patterns

Here is my collection of The American Girls Doll Dress Patterns.  There is also a set for Addy.

Each pattern comes with a colored photo of what patterns are included, instructions, and the pattern pieces. 

There are differences in the Velcro placement. Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly's pattern pieces have the Velcro sticking out the back. 

Josefina's pattern pieces have the Velcro flush with the back.

Review of Samantha's Bicycling Outfit

I just bought Samantha's Bicycling Outfit (newer version).  It comes with several pieces and is on sale for only $10!  I don't own the older version, but would love to someday! 

Here is a view of the back.

The pink bow is attached to a white scrunchie.  I miss the ribbons, but this is pretty too.  The straw hat is cute and has a blue band around it. 

The blouse has embroidery along the neckline.  The shirt is a little on the thin side and lower than I would've thought for the time.  The first edition had a high collared blouse. 

The sleeves gather at the elbow with elastic stitches.  It looks pretty and makes it easier to dress your doll. 

I really like the checkered bloomers.  The material is nice and thick.  

The gaiters are made of felt and have small pink buttons on the side.  The gaiters fit over Samantha's shoes (not included) and have an elastic stirrup on the bottom. 

Samantha looks lovely in it.

Review of Samantha Talent Show Dress

I purchased this outfit on Craigslist for $5.00!

It's a beautiful rose color dress with white and black trim.  It also came with a white ribbon for her hair.

The material is very good quality.  I was so impressed!

I love the white collar and lace trim.  There are two small black rosettes in front.  The dress is gathered at the waist with elastic for a perfect fit!

It looks so lovely on her!  She is wearing her meet stockings and shoes.

The dress has great movement for play.  No issues with sitting or standing.

 

The white ribbon was long enough to make a nice full bow!  Nellie Oleson got nothing on her :-)

The black and white ribbon is stunning against the pink.

I give Samantha's talent dress an A+ 😊
