American Girl Easter Basket

I found this AG Easter Basket for only $10.

I 💜 the colors of the basket and the ribbons make a beautiful basket weave!  There is light blue paper Easter grass on the bottom.  There are two plastic Easter eggs filled with some accessories, a fuzzy black and white bunny, and two peeps.  It is missing the plastic wrapped candy pieces.

I put the chocolate bunny from the Easter Egg Tree Set in the basket.  It's full of goodies!

I highly recommend this set.  This girl is ready for Easter!  Thanks for stopping by!

American Girl Easter Tree

I found this retired American Girl Easter Tree Set at a garage sale for only $2!

It comes with an Easter tree, sparkly egg & carrot ornaments, an egg carton, and a chocolate bunny!

I was only able to hang about 6 ornaments on the tree.  The others look nice in the egg carton.  This set is amazing! A+++ for quality!

Thanks for stopping by!

How-to make chocolate Easter bunnies for your mini dolls

This craft is inspired by Palmer's Peter Rabbit milk chocolate bunnies. They are a true Easter classic! It doesn't feel like Easter without these!

Purchase small plastic bunnies. I found these at a thrift shop.

Paint bunnies. You will need to paint 3-4 coats to cover the plastic.

After four coats of paint.

Now it's time to add some color!

Paint the eyes yellow and let dry.

Paint small blue dots on the eyes, then paint the carrots and flowers. This makes them look like the real Palmer's chocolate rabbits!

Add a few coats of mod podge to seal the paint.

Next you will need a piece of green felt, scrapbook paper that looks like the sky and a small jewelry box or cardboard box found at a craft store.

The lid will be the box for the chocolate bunnies. Cut a small piece from the bottom to use as the front part of the box. Glue in place.

Paint the outside of the box yellow. When dry, add two coats of mod podge.

Cut a piece of the scrapbook paper to use as the background of the box. Use mod podge to glue the paper down, then add two coats to the top, smoothing out any air bubbles.

Cut a small piece of green felt to look like grass and glue to the bottom of the box.

Paint the logo to look the real Palmer's Peter Rabbit box :-) When dry, add a layer of mod podge.

Cut a small piece of plastic (save pieces from things you buy). Cut to fit the front of the box.

Set your bunnies inside the box. You can glue them down or not. I did not glue mine.

Add the plastic to the front of the box and you are done! Perfect for your doll's Easter basket!

A pink nightmare

I made this Ralphie costume with an old pink fleece top using a pattern I made. I lovie mini dolls and "A Christmas Story". This costume can be worn for Halloween, Christmas and Easter!

So, is this a pink nightmare or a deranged Easter bunny?
