$3 dollhouse

love finding old dollhouses that need fixing up. It sometimes takes a lot of work, but it's totally worth it! You'd be surprised what a little TLC can do!

I purchased this dollhouse at a garage sale for $3. I really loved the layout and 2nd floor patio.

Here is a picture after removing the wallpaper and carpeting. It took a long time to remove the carpeting, but I was able to do it, then I primed the walls with white paint.

I painted the walls using Martha Stewart paint in bright colors.

For the flooring, I cut the curved tips off craft sticks, then glued to the floor using Aileen's Wood Glue.  I sanded the floors then sealed it using Hard Coat Mod Podge.

Thanks for stopping by!
