$2 Thrift Frame

I bought this frame at Goodwill for $2.  I really like the burlap backing, but did not like the color.

I put tape on the burlap then painted the frame ivory.

I used 2 coats of paint then removed the tape after it dried. 

I had these wooden birds for a while and thought they'd look cute in the frame. 

I found this paint at Home Depot for only $9.  It's called Oops Paint, so that's why it was so cheap.  It matches the color of my bird lamp perfectly.

I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
