Dollhouse update - roof and bricks for chimney and fireplace

I wanted the roof to look like a tin roof, so I glued tiny sticks vertically across the roof.

I painted the roof gray then aged it using some black and brown paint.

I lightly brushed metallic silver paint in the center of each section.

For bricks I cut up pieces of thin wood.

I painted them brick red.

I glued the pieces on the chimney.

I put a layer of putty over the bricks. It's the kind you use when filling holes in the wall.

I wiped off what I could then touched up the bricks with paint.

I touched up around the chimney with the silver paint. 

I repeated the same steps for the fireplace. 

I removed the tape before the putty dried.
