Tips & Tricks: Doll-size chicken coop

I purchased this metal storage piece from Hobby Lobby.  It looked like a chicken coop and was 40% off!

I cut two pieces of cedar closet lining to fit the size of the drawer. 

I set both pieces on the bottom of the drawer.

I laid some raffia on top of the cedar.

I wrapped some raffia to look like a nest.  I took another piece of raffia and wound it through the center all the way around.  This keeps it in place.

I put a few eggs in the nest and Kit's chicken in the cage.  I flipped the drawer so the handle is facing the back.

This chicken is ready to lay some eggs!

There are fresh eggs ready to buy and a little money box for safe keeping.
